Clark Kent and his Kawatche Soulmate Kyla Willowbrook
THE SOULMATE BRACELET has caused a lot of hubbub in Smallville shipper fandom over the years!
I got into the bracelet in fan fiction but I never really anticipated it revealing something on the show. Honestly I never remembered it while watching live. I think the Kawatche prophesy was really about Kyla. She was Clark's Kawatche soulmate. When she died, that part of the prophesy died too.
I enjoyed how direct Kyla was, and how passionately she fought for her people and how bold she was in her attraction to Clark. She had great chemistry with Clark - though it was not as good as his chemistry with Alicia Baker - another of Clark's hot, homicidal girlfriends. Like Alicia, Kyla loved and celebrated Clark's powers. Kyla really got Clark excited about the idea that he had a GREATER DESTINY.
I believed in her cause.
