My 30 days of 30 continue.
Today I went to the Symphony and saw Gabriela Montero!

She signed a CD for me-

-and shook my hand. I TOUCHED HER HAND!!! YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND. HER HANDS ARE WONDERS OF THE WORLD.
She's beautiful and has a fantastic smile and she plays the most complex pieces of music with unbelievable ease. I couldn't see her hands from the angle I was at in the auditorium but it was still amazing to see her body as the music just... flowed out of her hands and the piano. WOW!
She called out for an audience member to sing. And someone sang out a snippet from the famous song in Rigoletto! She played an amazing improv and at one point it had a Latin flare. I danced in my seat and I got tears in my eyes. It was AMAZING.
Improvisational wonderfulness!
Afterward I went to IKEA for a piece of chocolate cake.

Yes I know... strange. But IKEA makes me happy! And they were giving out coupons for free coffee with the purchase of a dessert. What a wonderful coincidence! The coffee wasn't very good. I would've preferred hot tea, but I felt loved. <3
My friend who lives near IKEA loaned me her Doctor Who Series Five so I won't have to risk a computer virus or buy each episode now. Yay!
